Just to add I have just used the renewal link (and not for the first time!) and it worked a treat.
And cancelled my membership 5 minutes later in case I forget to next year!

I have been quoted £119  on renewal yet on their site it is £89.99
Do I cancel off and if i do can I use the same user names?
Beats me why it can't be the same for everyone as their doesn't  seem to  be a discount for loyalty of 20 years or so

As far as I understand....your current subscription must have ended ( ie not just cancelled)
Then use the link and you get the bargain offer.
I renewed at the weekend, one day after my subscription ended and all was well.
and it was not the first time that the link has worked for me.
