I don't think the auto renewal has a switch off option

For past few years I've just remembered to cancel in time but I was moving flats & not very well so it was 1 of the "jobs " that fell by the wayside.

I've done without subs this week . Didn't even use Ancestry on visit to family history society

I haven't seen reimbursement in bank statement yet . When I do I may go for British 6 months offer or half price one as I still need to save money.

Also my friend will surely get offers of a free months trial
His aunt  has received DNA kit we sent and with her son's help will take it tomorrow
The results could be added to my friends 🌴 tree

Auto renewal does have a cancel option but it is a convoluted process.

It is a process which ends with a confirmation eMail being sent, no eMail its not been cancelled correctly.

I didn't get a reimbursement
Once auto renewal is applied it runs fortune full year but at least I have now cancelled  auto renewal for 2024

I am paying the full amount ...so I'd better make the most of it .

I let the subscription expire then a couple of days later use the link.

If the link does not work delete the browser history and try again.
