Hello,I take it you have to cancel well before the date  'when your subscription comes up for renewal as i cannot find how to stop the auto renewal part in my account

Go to account settings and under membership you should get the option to cancel membership.

Ancestry currently have the UK Premium offer £20 for 4 months - debited as £5 each month for the first 4 months.

I know it works out the same if you use the fabulous offer discussed in previous posts for the annual subscription - but at least it’s not a chunk of money paid out all at once for those like me having to stick to a budget.

Offer ends 9th Feb 2026. Don’t forget to set a reminder to cancel as it’ll renew at full price at the end of the 4 months.
