I have to choose to do that or renew for a month for £20 and spend £40 on ready meals and £20;for bus journeys.

And hope offer is still on when I renew

I felt that if I started charging people for research work I'd have to relinguish  my search angel badge of silver wings

But actually I can ask for some people to contribute and continue to help a few people when I can .

The Bahamas project I've been invited to collaborate on will generate payments for some research + training courses .

We are looking into sponsors + I am contacting family & friends who I've given DNA kits to or identified their both father of they could contribute  to payment for subs
+ I'm setting up a swop or buy table in the hallway. Neighbour took a lavender bag and may come down with a contribution

I've just had an email offering 50% off any Ancestry membership.  It seems to be a US offer, don't know if it will work in the UK and for Annual Worldwide, Sandra's link is significantly cheaper.  But it's the first time I've ever seen All Access discounted, and for anyone considering Pro Tools that's included too.

First time I've used ShrinkLink, hope it works!

As it will be charged in dollars, many cards apply a foreign currency loading so don't forget to factor that in.

I too have renewed this week via the link  :)

Thought I would mention, a contact 'thought' she had cancelled the auto renew but went into her account and it said that the auto renew amount had been taken the day before. She was very upset as she can't afford the full price and £179.99 is a lot of money in one go.

I suggested she call them as I really think they should at the least send an email reminder a week before that they are about to take the payment.
The young man she spoke to refunded the full amount. Once the refund showed on her card statement she left it a week and renewed via the link.  :)

The moral of the story is to make doubly sure that the auto renew cancellation has actually gone through and your account clearly shows the access will cease on the renewal date.
