Need help

I can't find any evidence of joseph returning to ireland nor can I find any baptismal records for the son Thomas.

Ancestry & Find My Past have incoming UK passenger lists from I think 1890-1960 which should cover the period you need to check.

Desertcreigh R.C. parish registers have baptisms 827-1851, 1852-1858, 1858-1881. Have you check all the baptism records there?

Yes have got all that. Think the Jane should have been James as it was recorded male.

Well if you 'got all that' why on earth didn't you mention that earlier before I trolled through the records for information you already had found?
