licensed victuallers in Liverpool
« on: Wednesday 03 June 20 17:29 BST (UK) »
Hi, would anyone have information or links to licensed victuallers records in Liverpool from about 1880 onwards?
not looking for records of specific people, more about the LVA as a group and its history.. anything to do with its activities or minutes of meetings, maybe names of people on its committee etc.

any info would be much appreciated

thanks

The newspapers collection on Findmypast returns 187 mentions of the Liverpool Licensed Victuallers Association between 1880 and 1890 many with meeting attendees and reports of proceedings.

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,

There is also a Liverpool & District Licensed Victuallers Federation?

Google books returns a mention, but the relevant page cannot be seen ::)
