Hi everyone hope everyone is going ok. Long time member but not much posting.

Been trying to find information on Mary Ann Wild/e.

Born 17/11/1826
Christened 7/12/1826
Died 5/11/1911 at Ovingham Victoria Australia.

Married John William Platt
23/11/1850 Adelaide Sth Australia.

Trying to find her parents and further back. I have a marriage certificate for her and John but it doesn’t have any parents.

To further confuse things I’ve found 3 different names for her father.

Charles from shipping records
John from a census
Edward from somewhere else.

Thank you in advance for any help or ideas in how to proceed.
Borlands from Scotland, Hiltons from England & Platts from England at this stage. Have others to look for as well at some stage :)

You have a birthdate and Baptism date but don't state where they took place.  You also mention Shipping record & census record but don't give us any idea when/where

Death/Residence Ovingham
Father's name John Platt
Registration Adelaide, South Australia

Couple of Royal Adelaide Hospital admissions for her perhaps?
Born in London, possibly Roman Catholic

Had the death information although must have missed that father information. Gives me something to go on.

@rosie99 I don’t seem to have a birthplace it wasn’t passed on in the information from mum

1841 census information that I found says John Wild with a Mary Ann aged 15
