Fossey

I don't have as much time as I did, but I'll have a look no problem but it won't be immeadiate, I will look though, its suprising how looking for others has helped finding my own 'people'

Andrew

Thanks very much, I will look forward to hearing from you.

James Dolan - was he in Whitehaven for the 1901 Census

I have got one on the 1851 census in Cleator a lodger working as a miner

did he die in 1902?

and what religion? if cleator or "the moor" (cleator moor)

This would help -

Did you mean James Doyle (dolan)?

I couldn't find him on the 01 census.  I am sorry but don't know his religion.

He was living in the 61, 71, 81 census in Bowthorn Road Cleator, not sure if that is what you mean.  With not coming from that area I dont know Cleator or Cleator Moor, I thought they were the same.

His son James who was born in 1861 was living and working in Cleator Moor when he got married in 1884.  And I don't know when he died either, sorry.

How old was the one in the 01 census and how old was he when he died.  I couldn't find him in the 91 census either.

I don't think he would have been catholic, but not 100% sure.

Thanks
