I am trying to set up a simple website with basically just the photos on and the scanned parish records I have

but the free webspace with BTyahoo (Geocites) wont work the site is there so it says but try finding it, nothing on it, thats what I was just doing

Hi Andrew,
Never tried this site, but it look quite good

Personally I would find a cheap web host and build it the way you want, without adverts,
will gladly help if you choose this option

Titch

the Isaac I'am looking for married pre 1828 and I have no idea where he came from other than his son was born in 1828 but he wasn't from Whitehaven or at least I can't find head nor tail of him prior to 1828.

Could be from Ireland

Thanks for looking, if you can find one pre 1828 marriage especially to a Jane

I cant find him anywhere on the web all i can suggest is you put a page on the Irish page .
also try mcNulty . i have even looked for the deaths and marriage for the rest of his earlier family and nothing is coming up anywhere .But i did find
McNULTY  Charles  Deaths Dec 1838 in whitehaven if he was about 12 it could be his brother.
McNULTY  Jane  Deaths Mar 1864 in whitehaven  could be his mum

Iv been at it a while now checking all the 1851 census ,cant find Isaac nulty but found Isaac Hultz abt 1829  Whitehaven, Cumberland, England  wife Elinor Hultz abt 1831  Saltham, Cumberland, England .
then a Jane MC Hultz abt 1844  St Bees, Cumberland, England Granddaughter  living with the Reed ,
Isaac appears again on the 1871 with a reed niece living with then.
have you look at the 1841 census , i was hoping to find him living with a relative somewere that might have lead to were his parents came from.
it looks like a few differant spelling
McNULTY ,  Hultz,  NULTY , macnuly,
don't give up we are all up for the challenge ??? ???

I wouldn't be suprised if this Isaac came from Liverpool but at that time Whitehaven as a port had not yet gone into decline and had a considerable trade with Ireland and the Americas

If my Isaac did come from Ireland (which is a guess) it would have been through either Liverpool or Whitehaven I would have thought, but probally more likely to be Whitehaven as there was loads of work down all the coal and iron ore mines, even the harbour itself.  I know at least two who worked on tugs

I can give help you with my Nulty info if any use
