I hope your offer still stands. My great great grandfather William COPELAND was born 17 July 1805 Whitehaven (source Family Bible). I think I have found his baptism on IGI 30 Oct 1805 St James Whitehaven, son of Thomas COUPLAND and Mary SCOTT. I'd like the baptism record confirmed from Parish Registers if possible, please. Also from IGI it appears that Thomas and Mary had another son, Thomas bpt 21.12.1806 also at St James but I can find no trace of him in 1851 census onwards. perhaps he died as a child?

has anybody got any parnells from whitehaven. ihave stan born about 1940 i have his wife and daughters but that is all .if i get to 1900 i will beable to go back as i have the census 1851 to 1901 will look up for you if you need help thanks paula
