do you have a Jacob Reed in your family??

I have found one that married a Mary Ann Dobbins, in 1857 ish, born circa 1835

I also have got a copy of ......  the 1786 Marriage records of Samuel Reed to Mary Kelly both of St Bees, which I will scan and upload for you

I am still looking for the other stuff but I really am working a lot of hours at work and I am litterally exhausted - I regretfully said I was going to work tomorrow at 06:00 - I must be mad

I really appreciate your efforts Andrew, but remember your priority has to be to yourself...I am a patient person. You have a life as well.

As far as family members are concerned, I don't know who is who. I was hoping to be able to work backwards. It would be surprising if there were not siblings from both generations. That's why I thought the 1851/41 censuses might have been first port of call.

Probably the best thing to do is keep a record of them all as you help me find them...over time...and maybe the pieces will fit together.

The next time you fancy oggling the lass in the RO, could you take a look at 1831/1833 for any sign of my elusive Hugh Tooley/O'Toole.

Parents Robert (according to marriage cert) and Rose Ann/Rosanna (from the early census.

Still not found them in 1841 but still presuming they're in Lancs as a child was born to Robert and Rosanna in Liverpool c1837
