Death for Alfred Thomas Morris

Hello  :)

I have been helping a friend do some research on their FT and we have found Alfred Thomas Morris left the UK for New Zealand in 1955, can anybody help fill in what happened to him next?
Residence, death?
Or can you point me the right direction.
He was born 14 Dec 1904 Lambeth, Surrey.

Seems odd - "wife" died 1988.  Did they divorce as death is shown under 2 surnames although I can't find any marriage

IF he died in New Zealand, this is the only death near to the stated year of birth:

1960/32231   Morris   Alfred Thomas   53Y

I have not found a marriage in New Zealand for this couple up to 1956 OR a birth in this country for Alfred Thomas.

He was a carpenter Minniehaha (in 1939) so same as that death.
I can only find that couple in 1957 electoral roll, not before. But there is also a John Morris, a labourer  with them.

Looks like Irene is Irene  Mavis Pascoe, a spinster in 1954
So John cannot be hers.
However I don’t see a John birth in England.


Oddly in 1963 she temporarily goes  back to being Pascoe, spinster, but then she shakes that off and goes back to being Morris  all at the same address.
