Hi folks
Can anyone help with this address, its taken from a Parish Death register from 1834 and St Cutherberts Parish. I have googled options but not having success.

Could it be Heriot's Bridge?
You could try seraching old trade and post office directories. Go to
https://auth.nls.uk/join/
(you don't need to register or join to look at the directories)
Click on Digital Resources > Digital Gallery > Scottish history and people > Scottish Post Office Directories > Browse and search
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

Thank you both - yes when I look at it again I can see Heriots!
Also fits nicely where daughter is later in West Port.
