Hi Sandra...I posted the obit for Francis Wyle Johns in Reply #7 .  Still trying to figure out why he is "Sir" Francis? 

Thanks for the information about his wife's full name.  Using that information, I found their marriage notice in the Globe and Mail (didn't come up using his name)…July 31 1944 page 8

A naval wedding at St Basil's church.   Helen Elizabeth Watson, only daughter of Mr and Mrs James B Watson of Kincardine, and Francis Johns RCNVR, son of Mrs Johns and the late James Johns.   The bride was attended by the bridegroom's sister, Mrs Emery Bebee.  George Clinton, Toronto, was best man.  Ushers were Mr Herbert Irvine, Mr John Hunt, and Mr Edgar Noffke.

Hello. I am new to this platform and genealogical research in general. Susan Johns was my Mom. I heard many stories about Maude--who lived with them. I'd love to know the direction of your inquiry. Are you looking for the daughter of Francis W Johns?? 

If so, there is an obituary in the Toronto Star for a Susan Elizabeth Siddiqui (nee Johns)...in the Oct 15 2014 edition.  Gives her dates as June 30 1946 - Oct 11 2014.

It says that Susan was the wife of F.  Mother of 4 children...2 boys- initials T, 2 girls-initials Y and S.  (Won't post full names, because they are most likely still living).  3 grandchildren named.  Obit says that she is the daughter of Helen and Francis Johns of Roxborough Street, Toronto.
