Out of interest I have just looked up the death of Katherine Spanks (as there was a year of death shown).

The gravestone is on Find a Grave and is from a Baptist Cemetery in Nova Scotia. So it's definitely real.

The Victoria Wood song came into my head instantly I read the inscription. Just as well it wasn't me who found it in the graveyard - I might have burst into song and scandalised anyone in earshot.

Do you know - I never noticed that Ev had said it was on Find a Grave!! I just read it as found during lockdown.

Now my eyesight is failing as well as my brain (and heaven knows what else).
