I had looked at that family, Debra and thought it most likely. It looks as though Sarah’s name was Day.

There is another Charles b 1849 but the boat association seems good.

We will see what Kirsty thinks.  :)

The original question was Charles Morris born CANNING TOWN, which several of us found,  I assume this is incorrect then?

Charles Morris mentioned in this thread- it's 15 pages long so I didn't read through all of it-
https://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=782973.msg6955341#msg6955341

Title of the thread is Hambridge Walker and Thompson canal people.
I have read all 15 pages ! The relevant information is in reply #72 by Isobelw referring to 1901 census when Charles Morris was with one of his daughters. "Charles was age 50 (so born about 1851) and his place of birth was Stockton Brook, Staffordshire."
I think Heywood and others have also identified that Charles Morris as the correct one.

All evidence found by various people on this and Kirsty's previous thread strongly suggests that it is incorrect.

4 pages of replies & info on that topic which also contains a reference to a further 15 page thread.

The info you give about Charles Morris on this thread does not match the info on the thread above.

You say here he was b 1855 - unknown birthplace and died 1907 Northants.  Previous thread you say he was b 1852 Canning Town and died 1909

No birthyears or birthplaces given here for the children listed or dates for the marriages mentioned and no birthyear/birthplace for Emily Ann Walker

A great deal of time and effort has been spent on your other threads so can I suggest you examine it all very carefully before raising another post
