Please read my questions again- I asked WHERE on ANCESTRY. In other words what sort of record on Ancestry gave you that information?

Where on Ancestry? in an actual viewable record? a transcription of a record? a family tree?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

I thought you were looking for Charles Morris and as you can see he is not born in Canning Town.

I was just making sure so that I could give you that Charles.
Did you already have him after all?

.....according to Leonard Morris Northamptonshire baptism I have the following.
1905 april 9th Leonard. Father name Charles and mother Emily Morris. Charles worked as a boatman.
The rest off the writing I don't understand.

There is not much else there to understand.  The abode is Buckby Wharf and the child was baptised by G. CROSSLEY.

Charles is away from home on every census but it is likely that this is him in 1901.

Charles and Rose were on the canal at Stoke and his barge was called 'Evelyn'.

In 1881 he is probably a canal boatman in Stockton, Warwickshire, aged 25.

In 1861 he is probably on a canal boat with his parents William and Sarah in Stockton.
