Hi
Bit of a long shot, as i don't have any information on the family other than the family name of Thompson.
Also the fact that they lived in Basford Cheshire in 1910.
Any information you can find would be great.

Have you tried looking for them on the 1911 census. 

Is this the family you were also looking for in 1939

Using only the surname of Thompson and a residence of Basford, Cheshire there are no results on the 1911 census.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!
