Grant and McMaster From Bridgeton Glasgow

I’m hoping someone can help me piece together some information..
I’m trying to find a date of birth for a
John Grant who married a Mary McMaster in Bridgeton Glasgow Scotland in 1919
The only date of birth I have is for Mary McMaster born 1893
Mary and John are my great grandparents unfortunately I have hit a brick wall with John on my grant side
Any help would be appreciated

The name is very common so without the name of the father it will be very difficult. There were 21 John Grants in Glasgow on the 1901 census born 1893 +/- 5 years and he may have been born elswhere, or earlier.

The marriage record on https://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk will give more detail. For £7:50 you can obtain 30 credits, if used wisely that will give you about 6 records.
