Wallace family Castlebellingham
This post is connected to one I posted earlier in the week about burial records for Kilsaran, but as I now have some more information relating to Mary Wallace, who’s grave I am trying to locate I thought it best to do separate post.
Looking for anyone connected to Mary Wallace’s family of Castlebellingham. In the 1901 census Mary is recorded in house no. 8, aged 14 living with her father John, Mother Kate and brothers Patrick, Michael, John and William, and sisters Julia, Margaret, and Kate.
Mary and some members of her family are still there in 1911, her father is widowed, it appears later that year he remarried Margaret Curtis, and in 1919 they had a daughter Anne.
Research indicates that Anne (Nancy) remained living in the area and married a John McCartney.
I am hoping to make contact with someone connected to Mary Wallace’s family who may be able to help me identify where her grave might be in Kilsaran graveyard. As she did not marry she may be buried with her parents or some other member of her family. Many thanks Margaret
