Still seems to be a problem.  Why do you think it is a high dpi (dots per inch) scan because it does not appear so at this end. Repeat the scan and see if you can get a file too big error:-)

Thank you to everyone who has given advice, and tried to restore the photograph.  Sorry if the size isn't large enough. As my mum who has the photo and is currently shielding as a vulnerable person, I am unable to get the photo and she lives 250miles away from me.  But as soon as I am able I will rescan and hopefully, this will be a better starting point for those who want to give it a go at restoration.  Thank you

That's OK Mrs. F...We understood that from your earlier post, I didn't want you to get your hopes up when the enlarged version was uploaded to try to help. I will wait until you can get a better scan as it will be worth it.
