Margaret’s Father Michael & his Wife Helen Louise Kennedy are the Great Grandparents of the Late Spike Milligan & my Great Great Grandparents.
They were married whist he was serving in Newfoundland and had all but one of their kids there including Spike’s Grandad William Patrick Marmaduke Milligan 😀.
If you matched a photo of Spike Milligan, my Grandma Ellen and my Dad you would see the resemblance 😂

The family are on 1881 census for Blytheswood, Ellinor Margaret, 20 & 3 children, Michael, Elizabeth & David. No David Snr. May have been at sea.

No luck with Elizabeth although David was still at home in 1911, age 30 and may have died 1937 in Possilpark.

a John Milligan Logan, died age 34, 1916, Dennistoun

I have William P Logan marriage to Matilda McPhun, 1910 or 1911, Blytheswood

Also a marriage for William Patrick Logan to Bridget Gilroy, 1943, Maryhill

William Patrick Logan died, age 88, 1977, Glasgow, MMN Milligan

Great piece of investigation..... I’m sure Mum & Dad went to his Uncle Patrick’s funeral in 1977 as it was just a year after Ellen (Grandma) died and he got a speeding fine on both occasions.
