Did you actually download the 1931 marriage cert & check parents names?  If you did  - it’s very strange it’s not her.   There is only one Alice Watson Thomson birth on SP - in 1910.   None in 1907

It’s also strange that Alice Watson Boyd died 1983 Falkirk - mothers maiden name Watson and you told us her mother was Elizabeth Watson

She was actually Allison on the parish records although family called her Alice and my mum was called after her and she is called Alice

Hi,

I am confused. I have several questions.

 :) Are you looking for
Allison or Alison or Alice...

:) Re the lass on the passenger list coming to New South Wales, in 1925 ... from that record ... how do you know that THAT passenger is the daughter of your  Elizabeth WATSON?

JM

My great aunt Alison Thomson(18) travelled on the Diogenes from London to Sydney Australia in September 1925. She travelled with a Michael Shannon(58). I can find no trace of her after leaving London. I wonder if anyone has come across her in their family trees

There is no birth 1900- 1910 for an Allison or Alison Watson Thomson - there is one in Leith in 1914

The passenger list shows her last address as Falkirk.   Her mother Elizabeth Sneddon Watson was born 1869 Falkirk and the 1910 birth was Falkirk

My reply on 21st  April asked for details of her birthplace but no reply.

No I haven’t looked for her because she’s not my relations but I’ve got Alice with parents Daniel and Elizabeth age 4 on the 1911 census
Sorry just looked at parish records for my great aunt and it’s Allison Watson Thompson born 3/1 1907 in California
