Thank you very much for the church name and the marriage announcement.  It is interesting that both of them already lived in Belfast before the marriage.

Thank you for that information.  I found the deaths in Irish Genealogy and I have the grave certificate for the plot in the City Cemetery.  As well as Marjorie Brown, their daughter-in-law, their unmarried daughter Isabel Brown was later buried in the plot.
Could you tell me where I would find the City Cemetery, were I to visit Belfast again?  I wonder if it is still open or if it was closed.
I am very grateful for all the information you kindly sent me.

Thank you!  I now know how to get there and that it is still open and sounds quite interesting.

It will be open again when the COVID-19 lockdown has finished.

In line with emergency legislation, our cemeteries are closed to the public, sculptors and contractors. Access is only allowed for funeral corteges.

We recognise this is a distressing time for anyone who has lost a loved one. These measures are being put in place to protect staff and also to protect members of the public.

The staff in the gate lodge at the entrance are very helpful. They have graveyard maps to show where each plot is. And if you are having difficulty locating one, they will sometimes get one of the maintenance team to go with you to locate it.

Thank you for all the information!  I certainly won't be able to get to Belfast until the lockdown ends, but I am pleased to hear that the staff are helpful and informative at the cemetery.
