« on: Friday 10 April 20 18:56 BST (UK) »
Hi all, i have an autograph book my great uncle kept while in tin town camp 2 in 1922 - 1923.. his name was James Carroll.
I know there are quite a few of these still around. Basically wondering If anyone has come across his signature in their relations books? id love to hear about/ see it. And obviously im happy to share anything in his book. James was 1st battalion B company Dublin brigade.
Regards
Rob

Hello,

I read with interest your article about internees in Tintown camp no 2, and I wonder if you could help me with some family research.

My grandfather was interned in camp no 2 from February 1923 to November 1923.  I believe he was released on the 15th Of November when on hunger strike.
His name was Michael Joseph O’brien.  I noticed on the prison record that he was noted as Michael Brien.
I am interested to find any references to him in records, and anything you can send would be most appreciated.

With Kind regards,

John Kelly

My maternal grandfather is apparently listed there in James Carroll's autograph book. Amazing! I would love to see his signature at some point. He was a very young man, but he was interned for a year in the Curragh. Two of his children are still living.

Hi Rob, my names Ciara. You responded to my on about my great grandfathers signature. PJMoynagh. I cannot respond in messages for some reason. PJ was also in B Company 1st Bettallion in Dublin so they likely knew each other well.
