What can YOU tell us of her later life?
Did she even survive childhood?

Pauline

Do you have an entry for her on the 1841 census?  I can't readily see one of the right age.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

There is a 1841 census return that has an Elizabeth Addeyman in Huddersfield with parents Thomas and Martha but this Eliz was born in Huddersfield

This is also a marriage of an Elizabeth Addyman in 1878 in Pateley Bridge to either a David Parker or a Craven Wilson.

There is also a 1911 census for Rigton where Elizabeth Addyman is with her Cousins Ada Mary & Jane Holmes but she is listed as a Widow so possibly only your Elizabeth if she reverted to her maiden name.

Looks like she may have married, aged 20  on 9 Aug 1853 at Almondbury to Joseph Smith. Filmed record of that marriage is on Ancestry - father Thomas, a Mechanic.

Her residence given as Crosland Moor.

The Elizabeth Addyman we have found born about the correct time - but in Huddersfield -- may not be the correct one.

We don't know where you have found the details for YOUR Elizabeth - hence none of us are sure about the basis of your query.

If you suspect we have been following the incorrect Elizabeth - please let us know where you have 'picked' yours up from.
