St Martin in the Field burial record
« on: Saturday 04 April 20 19:49 BST (UK) »
Can anyone explain the abbreviations - either "No G" or "SG" - on the parish burial record directly after each name?  Snippet example is from 1820, though the abbreviations are used throughout the record.

Many thanks indeed.

I think it's the burial ground where the interment took place. There were several for the church during the 18th and start of the 19th century. NOG would be the New Old burial Ground, and TG (not SG see the S in Sarah and St on the image) would be the Tavistock burial Ground (in Drury Lane).
