Looking for any info about these lost relatives from Elmhurst, New York
« on: Thursday 02 April 20 03:35 BST (UK) »
(*) Laffey, (*) Laffey, and (*)Laffey. They were probably born in the mid to late 1940s, maybe the early 1950s. They were born in New York, and grew up in Elmhurst, Queens.

Their parents' names were Patrick Laffey and Mary (unknown maiden name). They were both born in Galway, Ireland.

They grew up nearby my father, and our family has lost touch with them. We're looking to find out how exactly they are related to us; those three people mentioned first are either his first or second cousins, and the mother was a relative on my father's maternal side.

Those people you have mentioned are hopefully still living if born in the 1940's /50's so you should remove their names

If they are related, it is in Ireland. Can you post what you know about your father's maternal side?

There is an M. L., female,  b about 1948, Newtown HS, Elmhurst, yearbook picture

Thee is a K. V. L., b about 1952, Newtown HS, Elmhurst, yearbook picture
from the pictures, these two could easily be sisters.

and there is this man:
Patrick Andrew Laffey
born 26 August 1950, Queens, New York
died 14 December 1992, San Diego County, California

I was hoping for a mother's maiden name, but haven't found one so far.
