Looking for any relatives or friends of the above named gentleman and his wife Alice . Both are deceased.  Kenneth about 1989 and Alice in 1996. On the electoral rolls either one or both were living in Mosley St Southport between 1963 and 1994. Alice died in a nursing home in Southport.

Hi Igor Strav
I know very little about this couple and don't know if they had any children or were in touch with anyone on the Povey side of the family.  My purpose in getting in touch with anyone who knew them is to find out more about them.

Kenneth was born 1909 Wrexham but the marriage to Alice was 1954.  It was a civil marriage so cannot be looked up in parish records

I think this was a second marriage and he previously married 1935 in Wrexham to Agnes Jones.  Possible births to that marriage in Wrexham

Kenneth was born 26.4.1909 and died 4.12.1988 not 1989.  There is a probate entry for him. You can download a copy of the will for £1.50.  May name children

Check the 1939 register & you will find Kenneth & Agnes.  Birth year incorrect - 1908

Hi Carole. We have spoken before a couple of years ago. This is the infamous Alice Tunney I've been looking for for years.
The information you posted is correct and I'm just waiting for confirmation with certificates. Probably going to be delayed at the moment. Thanks for your help once again.

Alice is more of a problem.  Nothing online.  Birthdate 1.10.1920 according to death reg.

She was 34 at time of marriage.  The only Nickeas marriage to an Alice was in June qtr 1936 so not her as she was only 15

No Alice Nickeas birth in 1920 - only one on freebmd & that was 1888

If you want to find info you would need to buy the 1954 marriage cert to see if it showed her as previously married or showed her fathers name
