Before reading anything else I thought 1920's given the white or very pale stockings, the shortness of the hem, bobbed hair and the characteristic shoes.
And yes, she looks very well preserved for 50 and perhaps more importantly absolutely following fashion which wasn't so common in those days as it is now (or so I'm given to believe, especially reading Golden Age detective stories where the 50 year old mothers are often referred to as old ladies
