Could have come from almost any source then available as the author had apparently pursued a lot of the then usual available sources (early 1960s).  That said there is little detail in the way of precise dates/places although there are a few which suggests to me that either the author only recorded scant details or didn't have more detail to record.  Presently leaning towards the latter.

There are a lot of resources online, free...

You may not want to have your family's stuff posted online, which is no problem,  but one can get advice on how to find people born in a certain era in a Location wthout mentioning Names or change the Surname to Smith or whatever, in that location, then you can change Surname to whatever you need and research.

Thus keeping details private.

Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

Thanks Hallmark, but I've been researching over 30 years so well aware of possible avenues to pursue.  My original query was just the very specific one of when the 1901 became accessible.  Agree Rootschatters can be very helpful and knowledgeable, particularly with specifics hence posting the query here.

No apology necessary.  Good to see someone willing to be so helpful!
