I looked up Tadcaster as he lived in Allerton Bywater and that falls under Tadcaster.  So I looked up the Tadvaster Parish Records.  The year of his death is not under the Tadcaster records they stio at 1937.

"ALLERTON BYWATER, in the parish of Kippax, Lower-division of Skyrack, liberty of Pontefract; 5 miles NW. of Pontefract, 9 from Leeds and Wakefield. Pop. 329."


But the Civil Parish of Allerton Bywater is in the Registration District of Tadcaster!
