'Zooming' the family and having my newly 6 year old grand-daughter 'zooming' in to the camera with a big grin, to show me where her first tooth had come out on Easter Day; the screen was filled with just her grinning mouth, with gap !    ;D

Love it!

So do I and can picture it well  :D... we had same with the tooth fairy and Easter bunny coming at the same time to our granddaughter with first wobbly tooth coming out on the Saturday, she's a month off being 6 years, not a complete gap as new tooth is well and truly showing behind where the baby tooth was. Her wee sister turned 6 months old at Easter and her first tooth cut through at the same time and in same place her sister lost her lower front one and now has another through beside it.  The face time is lovely and thankful for the technology  :)

Hanging out the washing in the sun in my back garden, and listening to a child in the garden the other side of a high hedge singing as she ran about .... she must be the same age or thereabouts as my grand-daughter with the missing tooth.

Baked my first "successful" loaf of bread yesterday  ;D  Yes, it looked like a loaf and it was soft to eat.

All previous attempts have turned out like bricks lol!

I might, just might have another go next weekend  ;D ;D ;D

I realise this is slightly out the isolation category but I think it happened beause people aren't out and about so much.  Yesterday on the way home from work the seals were basking on rocks really close to the road, deer were in the low field on the other side of the road and the pheasants were strolling along the road when I went to turn onto the moor road.  They have zero road sense btw.

Sounds as if you live in a beautiful part of the country if that's your drive home.

It is except when it's snowing or there's been an accident and I have to take a massive detour.  My drive home is along the coast and then up over the moor.

Lovely to see nature and particularly the presence of wildlife not usually seen where we've invaded their habitats more. Seems it's happening in many places going by clips I've seen of wild animals in almost deserted towns etc.

Joined in my yard by a delightful pair of fantails flitting around while I pottered about this morning.

Well done on the successful bread making, Jenny ... always encouraging when something you've made looks like the real thing  ;D 'just like a bought one'

Just been for our walk and heard the cuckoo for the first time this year . Skylarks going to town and buzzards soaring overhead - just lovely !
