Small moments of pleasure in isolation

   I have started on my home library - all those books I didn't want to get rid of! Started with an Elizabeth Goudge, just finished Austen's Persuasion, and started on "Ask the fellows who cut the hay". I picked that up quite recently at a second-hand stall, having often meant to read it.

Do you use Bookbub? I can recommend it, you put in the names of any authors you're interested in and they email you if there's a price drop. They also send a regular email (weekly? Not sure!) with books with price drops in the categories you have chosen. eReaderIQ is pretty good too. You don't get lots of rubbish emails from either of them.

Our granddaughter, in first year of school, is getting a lot of play based learning by her teacher mum/our daughter currently on maternity leave from school. Granddaughter's reading and writing is very good and loves to do some of that each day, along with reading to us beautifully by video call in the evenings before bedtime sometimes 

Look forward to my in house barista making our coffee for afternoon break, tea other times, he's still attempting the art of new froth patterns but has a couple now off pat 
I purchased a large bag of beans on special before we needed them ... so all set for a good while yet but don't think they're hard to get

I have an apple every day and I thought I was getting to the end of my supply but I found a pack of six at the back of the fridge.

I looked for a six pack in the back of my fridge - I failed to find it so I'll just have to out up with my tummy the way it is. 
 

Apart from that, today's small moment of pleasure in lockdown was the resumption of my language class on Zoom. It should have been last week but, for some reason or another, I wasn't able to connect.
