Fry Family of Kingswood Bristol

Hi. Has anyone any information about a Clement Augustine Fry, born 15.6.1905 Kingswood, Bristol. He died in 1976 at 167 Hanham Road, Kingswood. I would to find his parents etc. Also has he any connection the a Florence Reeves nee Fry born 1875 Kingswood. She was my grandmother. Also Florence had a sister, born Mary Ann Fry 1884 Kingswood, she was also known as Mabel Fry professional actress, in 1901. Thanks Chris Reeves

If he is the Clement Augustine Fry, who married in Birmingham, in 1940 to Gladys Hall, then his father was named as Frederick Fry.

Yes and he was also married before to a Rose Grace Powell. She died in 1939.

Are you sure of the date?

There is a death with the birth date you quote registered Mar 1974 Kingswood

The birth certificate will confirm the name of his mother for you.

There are a lot of sisters of Florrie and Mabel and a brother Clement

6 year old nephew may be a clue but transcribed as "Gessie"  :-\

I wonder if actress Mabel was his mother?  But the birth will confirm for sure  :)

December qtr 1895 and June qtr 1896

No marriages of Frederick Fry to a Fry spouse?

I agree with the birth certificate or marriage banns usually names the father.
