Hi all, VERY VERY new user and feeling my way. Now My GG Grandparents came from Tartaraghan, Armagh, Ireland and came over on the "Ganges" to new Zealand in 1865

Now how do I go about getting a copy of their birth records and/or Marriage records.

What does it cost and is it hard to do. I have sort gone as far as I can with this line.

They were married before they left Tartaraghan, Armagh, Ireland 19 May 1864

Births weren't recorded until 1864, so you would be looking for church records. What are the names. I'm also researching in this parish.  Is it the John Smith/Mary Matchett who were married that day in Tartaraghan:

Can you make out the Place of residence for Mary??
