I suggest you don't use paint for your stripes -- unless you are leaving spaces in-between in skin colour! If you use paint it will run and give you a mottled appearance.

You could use felt tips. Alternatively coloured body length strips of coloured paper glued on!

It appears the picnic has veered into something quite different.  Stripped men and striped men, cat o' nine tails.  What sort of picnic was this?

I am beginning to lose the will to be optimistic.  I am trying so hard to stay 'up' all the time.  Personally, self-isolation has been very good for me and OH.  We have achieved a lot and OH has been focused and has been concentrating on the job in hand (something he hasn't done for a long time now).  So, things are good.  I keep trying to find the good things and hold on to them.  I know things will get worse and I want to put off the doom and gloom for as long as possible.  The partying has helped but it appears very few people want to be happy.

So, if we want a party today - I am throwing it out to anyone else to decide what sort of party we want.

Over to you all.

Hi Rishile,

I do understand how you feel -- the party goers seem to have dispersed onto other CV topics. I think you are doing a brilliant job by trying to keep all our spirits up and by introducing the 'Party' thread (when we all got chucked off the other topic!!)

Difficulty is, we are running out of ideas for party themes. My mind has gone blank - and before you say it -- I know it was blank already.

I have just had my daily exercise by driving to the post box and exercising my right foot on the car pedals. I wore a glove to post my letter.

If no-one can think of a theme - we could just carry on chatting until somebody has a brain wave. I'm waving now - and typing with the other hand!
