I think if we all had a good joke to tell at the party it would  be a laugh!
Well I hope so!
Irish joke:-There were identical twin sisters working  in the local Chemist’s.
Sadly, one died.
Some time later a man popped in and said “ Was it you or your sister who died?”

OK - are we ready for the next party?

This time you can bring a Plus One.  Anybody you like - famous or not, dead or alive.  Who would you bring and why?

My choice as we seem to be stuck in the 70's is David Cassidy.  That lovely mobile hair and wonderful voice.  I can still sing all of his songs word for word, even the hm's and ar's.

I'll bring the Big Yin -- he only has to open his mouth and I fall about laughing.

So if that happens, I'm not necessarily drunk -- just might be.

Pennines - I watched him on TV last night.  It was one of his old shows and he was so funny.  He only has to stand on stage and I'm in hysterics.  I remember when his shows sold out within minutes of them going on sale.

Viktoria, the jokes are here:

Martin
Sorry MARTIN,I did not think about it being a Corona Virus Party !
I am still in shock  you see!
I mean when was the last time you were trapped in a stretchy thingy?
It takes it out of you!

A Welshman was shipwrecked ,the only survivor he was washed up on a desert island.
He was there for years, one day there was smoke on the horizon so he got a smokey fire going on the beach.
Eventually a small boat landed with four seamen in it.
They asked the Welshman questions etc ,he had no idea how long he had been there,it was twenty years.
They asked how he had occupied his time - he showed them two small buildings in a lovely green valley.
Told the men they were Chapels.
“ But why two.”?
Well, said the Welshman THAT’S the one I go to and THAT’S the one I DON’T
go to!
You have to understand the Welsh people were very loyal to one little Chapel
and seldom went to another.
I think they were ahead of the game re Corona Virus.!
That is just so it might just be a Corona joke.

Cheerio.
Viktoria.

Can anyone bring any Vitamin D to the party please?

(I have only just noticed ALL the other threads which have sprung up under 'Coronavirus' I couldn't believe it -- our party might have been high-jacked with former party members defecting! Come back we need you to cheer us up.)

Can we have a sing-song please? With no church services or choir practices I am missing my singing, which is good for the lungs. :D

Sing away Top of the Hill.  Make sure it's something we all know though or we can't join in.

How about some lively hymns.  Onward Christian Soldiers or similar.

I would have to sing something (no, not simple) in Welsh. It is said, by my good lady, who may be biased, I am able to do a passable version of Calon Lan.
However, I could not ignore Yma O Hyd by Dafydd Iwan!. There must be others who are able to join in.
If not, then I'll go for Guide Me O thou Great Redeemer to the tune of Cwm Rhondda (natch).
Humphreys; originating in Montgomeryshire and spreading out locally, nationally and internationally.
"Yma o hyd".
