Dread to think what Viktoria will be wearing at midnight.

For the maritime party I'll wear bell bottoms.

Clarification; -- wide trousers with bells around the hem (not around the bottom!) -- I will jingle.
Places of interest;
Lancashire, West Yorkshire, Southern Ireland, Scotland.

Do you want to borrow bells from my morris costume? They are large and jangly.

TY -- I always thought you were a male from your user name! But if you are wearing a skirt then I may have been wrong (but not necessarily).

I made the same mistake when I was new to RootsChat. Must have been thinking of hunky truck drivers.

Gosh! That must have been some party!
I don’t remember a thing about it!
What did I do?-Assuming you recognised who was doing what!
I arrived home somehow ,but woke up in a wheelie bin,one of mine thank goodness so at least clean, washed out on Wednesday, after collection.
The last thing I clearly remember was standing at the front door clapping the
NHS.
Just going to switch TV on ,to see the latest news.
If only I had some Paracetamol, never again !
Well not until the next time!
Viktoria——I think!

I seem to have guessed that you were female! I suppose if an idea gets lodged in the brain it is hard to shift it.

TY -- I must confess to surprise that you needed to check!

Really sorry about mistaking your gender - it was simply your username - I seem to associate the name Threlfall with beer -- which in turn, I associate with men. Was there Threlfalls Brewery - or similar, or have just made that up?

My sincere apologies.

I see the Rootschat Arms has opened up as a topic -- rivalling and will probably overtake this Party topic.

We might as well go there!

My cherry tree is keeping me cheery!

Roger

I pass a cheery tree in Glasgow on one of the routes to hospital. I mean cherry tree, although cheery is also correct. I'm going by in a car so unable to pause under it.

I looked properly at the cherry tree this morning en route to hospital and saw it was the front one of 3. Either that or I'm seeing in triplicate. There's a cherry tree right outside the hospital entrance which I hadn't noticed until today.
