I've got food -- I told you all yesterday that I had got a Sainsburys delivery slot. As a result I was in a state of high excitement all day.

I have bread - replacement Sainsbury's own baked beans - AND replacement Sainsbury's own tomato soup. I've got other exciting stuff as well - eggs, blueberries -- the list is endless.

Hence I will carry all these to the picnic in my flouncy skirt. Getting a bit dark now though - I may not find you.

Shucks - if that happens I'll have to keep all that food myself.

The information sent to me is from that given out by NHS Wales to its staff.
I did not check it I admit but the sender is an eminently sensible person.
Saw no reason to mistrust it.

I didn't think about swimming attire but I have always quite liked the costumes the men wore then.  Especially when they had stripes on them (the costumes, not the men).

Rishile -- I think we should have striped men. That would make it different from any other party I have attended. Colour of stripes optional.

No worries.  Although the exact same information is circulating here in Canada as coming from one of our medical experts.  I've seen it from US and NZ 'sources' as well.  It's the sort of thing that happens when we are all searching for answers.

Party on!

Dress code?. I thought about a drape jacket in a fetching shade of blue complete with a black velvet trimmed collar, pockets and cuffs and worn with associated gear.
What about music, especially after our singing?. I'm strictly a 60's music fan but then I sort of go off into the realms of music al la Led Zep, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath etc., etc..
Perhaps we should stick with something a little more "middle of the road". I can live with Motown.

Llwyd,

Your dress code sounds VERY smart indeed. I'm impressed. Not sure what a 'drape' jacket is though.

Music -- I like 60s music also - at least it had a melody and a beat. Also love Country and Western and Irish songs.

We could have a mixture - BUT NO-ONE is coming. I fear the party goers have gone over to the 'dark side'.

Oh Arthurk -- believe me - I would have said that, if only I had thought of it!

(Not that I have any wish to see stripped men, I hasten to add).

What sort of stripes, and how applied?

Are they of the painted variety, or the cat-o-nine tails type (Ouchhhhhhhhh)
