Thank you all so much! We thought we had hit a real brick wall on the Perrys but it certainly looks like our Sarah was the one born to William and Maria. We had suspected this might be the case but had failed to find the baptism. There certainly are a lot of Perrys around that area and trying to untangle all the connections between them is challenging! Sarah, after she married Joseph Clark (her second husband), was living next door to William and Letitia Perry and now I will have to see if I can find out what relation they were to her...perhaps the two Williams (her dad and the one next door) were cousins?
