Photos of gravestones, Brignall

I just had a weeks holiday, staying next door to St Mary's church in the village of Brignall, North Yorkshire.

I have photographs of all the gravestones that could still be read from that churchyard.

Also, some distance along a footpath (signposted "the old church"), was a very old and ruined church. The gravestones there were very old, but I also have photos of some of them too.

I hope this will be of help to someone (believe me, the friends I was on holiday with thought I had completely lost my marbles. My other half, resigned to such insanity, just took the photographs for me!)

I only have one Green headstone in my photographs. It is for Elizabeth Margaret Green who died on 2nd July 1952 aged 20 years.

No, I'm sorry Nightporter, if Martha Percival is there, she doesn't have a legible gravestone.
