Looking for maybe the cemetery in Feering where my GGG grandfather is buried . I understand there is more than one cemetery there and I cannot find any evidence of this grave site. These are the details I have. I would be most grateful for any information anyone can find on this site as I am writing a book on my Johnson family. Details I have are:
WILLIAM’S HEADSTONE IN FEERING IS AS FOLLOWS:
Sacred To the memory of William JOHNSON who parted this life September 8th 1827 Aged 46 years
Ready for in such an hour as ye think not the son of man cometh
Also of Elizabeth his wife Who died February 24th 1850 Aged 76 years.
Many thanks.

His burial was on 14/9/1827 All Saints, Feering - this was the only church in Feering at the time and he would have been buried in the churchyard.

Thank you so much for that Annette. It is very helpful.
I am wondering if you can also tell me if the "Independent Church of Great Coggeshall " would be the same church as St Peter ad Vincula Church?
Again, my thanks.
