Sorry I have written two replies but I think I keep losing them as another message comes through.
Thanks for all the replies.
Lily (Lilian) Seyboth was in a hospital and William Seyboth got a divorce on the grounds of Mental illness.  He re-married in Mar Qtr  1843 to a Daisy Catling or Caitling.
And yes I think Lily did die in this hospital.
I will look at all your replies and see what I can put together.

Thank you - that's all so helpful.

Its really strange that I can't find the family on the 1911 census  - the children were only small.  I've seen the school admissions for Lily Eamer in 1911 and 1913.
I've looked at alternative spellings - I think something may have been wrong in the family.

I think it would be useful to have the parents marriage certificate. Then you can trace the wider family and see if they were staying with them in  April 1911. Alternatively someone may know if some census entries for the area are missing.

Thank you MarysInMyTree

The entry for Lily at the Palmer Church of England school is very interesting.  I found the first entry but couldn't find the other one - is it on the same page?

I found it as Lamer, ( on findmypast) for admission in 1913.
Looks like they maybe left and then returned. Note that parent is given as Mrs Holloway , so using her maiden name perhaps?
Address is Peach street.

Edit
Actually I am just wondering if this " Mrs Holloway" might be lily's grandmother Charlotte Holloway, they are at 57 Peach st in 1911.

Thanks - that does seem a likely possibility.

Thank you again - just looked up 1911 census and the Holloways at Peach Street. Pity the rest of the grandchildren aren't with them!

Hi
Just got to pop out, but have been looking at this again this morning...

Lily's father - Married as Edward, was baptised as Edwin Daniel and also on one census as Frederick Daniel.
The Berkshire burial index for Edward Eamer (d 1926) has
"Notes: wife says he was baptised Frederick Daniel but known as Ted +"
This also give the address as Rose Court.

FindMyPast has electoral registers of Frederick and Ellen at this address.

Hope that helps
