Hi again

Could your Miriam be Margaret ?  Living at Brynllys, Llanddeiniolen, Carnarvon, Caernarvonshire, Wales in 1851 we have the following family:

Morris Parry Head M 45 years (1806) Blacksmith born Llanddeiniolen
Margaret Parry Wife M 43 years (1808) born Llandwrog
Ann Parry  Dau 16 years (1835) born Llanddeiniolen

Margaret Parry  Dau 7 years (1844) born Llanddeiniolen
Henry Parry  Son 2 years (1849) born Llanddeiniolen
Ann Parry Lodger 79 years (1772) Pauper  born LLanddeiniolen

Going back to 1841 we have
Morris Parry (Smith), Margaret (wife), son Griffith b1836, and Anne, Jane, Ellinor and a
Griffith Hughes b1822 (19yrs) Quarryman
Their address is Tan Y Clogwyn, Llanddeiniolen, Carnarvon, Caernarvonshire, Wales

In 1861 Morris, Margaret his wife, Margaret his daughter and Henry are still in the same place.

No sign in later years but in 1871 there is another Parry family lving in Brynllys an Elias aged 30 years but they were born in LLanbeblig (Caernarfon).

Is it your tree on A** Miriam with daughter Kate Ellen

Yes I think that is her so I was told she lived Bryn LLys Bethseda, but cant find evidence of that. I was then told she lived with her family in Caethro, Cefn of Caethro which was off waunfawr road. I was told she was child of a parry and jones match.

She has a daughter out of wedlock and lives in Galy y sil, llandbeblig, llandwrog in 1881 which is down the road in 1871 with a William Roberts a widow, again I dont know if this is a relation or possible father of her child Kate Ellen. This is is with a William Jones. Not sure if this is in glangewna terrace, Llanrug. They are literally 5 mins walk away from each other. There are lots of Parry’s close by one who I thought maybe her parent was Morris Parry as he lived in Bryn LLys and what I have learnt is the parry families seemed to have moved from bethseda but taken their name of local places with them. An example of this was coed y Parc. Morris was born in 1806 LLandeiniolen. Owens siblings were Thomas, Davis, Elinor and they seem connected to a father of Henry thomas and and Anne evans. I ahve no idea how Thomas changed or parry but apparently quite common those days. he lived in Anglesey originally but Anne was from lleandeiniloen. however my family have dna connections to these two but not morris as far as i can see. But I think she also was with her grandmother in 1851 llanechi or llandegai. Which was Jane and then there is a Jane in abberfraw in 1901 all very confusing. Kate Ellen married john jones in Anglesey and Miriam stayed parry all her life. Just confused where she went in 1901 census. But my dad is adamant she was born Bryn Llys bethseda. I understand Bryn Llys may have been buried under the quarry

Hi I am trying to find information about a William parry born 1805 who was a parish clerk for st Ann’s church and lived in the parish clerks cottage. Does anyone have any information on him or the house? He was parish clerk between 1839 and 1881 and was also a quarryman
