Holy Trinity, Hope, Marriage Look up 1911
« on: Friday 28 February 20 20:41 GMT (UK) »
Am looking for further information of a marriage between John Henry Lucas and Maria Wilcox who married at Holy Trinity, Hope, STS in the 2nd qtr of 1911.  Unfortunately I couldn't find anything on findmypast or ancestry and wondered if anyone had access to the parish records for this church?

The marriage certificate will give details
They were married Jun Qtr 1911
Ref: Stoke T vol 6b page 357

Holy Trinity church, Hope, near Hanley, was built in 1848-9,  It stood at the junction of Trinity Street and Lower Foundry Street. The church was abandoned in 1940 and demolished in 1952.

There are some watercolour paintings of the church on the Staffordshire Past Track Website
