Thomas Wainwright White married Fanny Archer 1878, lived at 12 Platt St, 16 Rowsley St Beswick,50 Vine St and 20 Ackroyed Ave Gorton. They had  3 children.

George White maried Jane Mason , they lived at 36 Lever St

Is anyone else researching this family ?

EMMINGS, UNWIN, TAYLOR...Cambs
DAY, BALL, TITLEY....Staffs
THORNHILL....Longstone, Derbys
DUMELOW, TOWLE...Derbys/Notts border
PHILLIPS.....Droylesden area Manchester

Hi there i know this thread is old but just fancied playing with Any old ones on here for fun.

There is a Thomas Wainwright White Buried in Gorton Cemetery 15th June 1935 aged 80
Also in that grave is a Fanny White buried 27th Aug 1928  aged 70 & an Alice Butcher buried 17th Jan 1910

Yes you are correct......Thomas Wainwright White was my great grand father....Fanny was his wife....Alice Butcher who was the first placed in the grave was the daughter of Fanny's sister Betsey. Incidentally the son of William Wainwright White had a plot close by and this has his first and second wives buried there, also my father's baby brother.
One day on Roots I saw a  link to Gorton Cemetery and was able to locate some of my family.
FH has kept me busy for a  few years now and revealled a few skeletons .....and given many of my family some good laughs, I have also found long lost cousins and many others researching family members.
One day I'll try to write it all down for the family, sensibly it is all in my FH prog !!!
