Why do you think she was born 1706 in London?

" The tradition was started in 1791 by Philip I who commissioned a set of 6 portraits from John Walters of Denbigh. Amongst others, the portraits commemorate:

Jane Ebrell, house-maid and spider brusher, aged 87;"

I don't think we can assume that her portrait was done in 1791 but it's probably not too far out, and if so, her year of birth would be 1704.

Could this be a burial record for Jane's husband?  One has to bear in mind that names may well have been spelt as they were heard.

First name(s)   John
Last name   Ebrall
Birth year   -
Burial year   1783
Burial date   09 Dec 1783
Place   Marchwiel
Parish   Marchwiel
County   Denbighshire
Country   Wales

I get the impression from google maps that Marchwiel is where Erddig is.  Marchweil appears in the Malpas district of the Wrexham registration district.
