Hi,

I am wondering if you can help me. I am trying to help my grandma locate her biological birth mother. All the information I have is her name was Margaret (maiden name unknown) she was married to a Mr Woodcock. They had one child together before 1948. From what I can gather is was born around 1916. I believe the Woodcocks lived near St Silas Church.

Its a long shot I know. However, my grandma would love to see a picture of her mum or find out some more information about her.

Many thanks

Voodoo
(I am new to this site and didn't know how to set up my own page and noticed you left after they would of been there)

A Margaret Griffiths, born 1917, married John Woodcock in Manchester in early 1948.

She was living in Ardwick in 1939.

They had a child in the same year but we can't give details because the child may still be alive.
