Thanks for your help Rosie. Charles was living with his half brother (although the census says step brother) William Dudley on the 1901 Census. I would dearly love to find out where Charles was after that and if there are any living relatives out there who have him on their tree. So far no luck....

There was a marriage in 1908 Charles Stagg to either Ethel Neville or Margaret Boatman.

The other groom was John Albert Seager so if we can work out who belonged to who and where they were it might rule in or out this Charles.
Hinchliffe - Huddersfield Wiltshire
Burroughs - Arlingham Glos
Pick - Frocester Glos

John Albert Seager married Ethel Neville.

Freesearch of 1911 gives an age of the Charles Stagg that married Margaret as 22

Looks like he married a widow - Annie Phoebe Theobald, nee Claxton - in Mar.qtr.1917 Holborn.  2 children - Martha F. born 1917 Holborn and Charles G. born 1920.

If you check the 1939 register you should find him with the birthdate you state.

Think he possibly died Mar.1943 Islington.  His wife died Annie Phoebe Stagg Jun.1971 St. Pancras.
